oh yao's party was fun! we -erica, issy, denise, yao ting and i- went bowling. i'm useless without bunper:D and we had this gross jelllybean testing thing. ahahaha. and we spent the rest of the time being total camwhores.

and, uh, oh yes.

FILM STUDIES!! ahaha salome, jeanette, serena, shona and dee came over to do it! and denise got to sleep over for one night(: ahahaha they're such nutty nutty people. but so funny:D and i caught sally's cold. but it's better now, yay.

and school starts in 2 days.

hello everyone!
haha okay i'm blogging from tokyo now. kudos to my sister who brought her lappy:D
arrived at 7 in the morning and, after 3 hours of bullet trains, we've finally reached our destination... a really cosy ryokan -a lile inn- that's all warm and homey. to be honest, there isn't much to do except sit back and admire the birds. which i did and got bored of in 15 minutes. but it really is very pretty. i shall put up photos!!! when i go home and use the card-reader.
and all the com instructions are in japanese.
okay dinner time -though i's only 6-.

TODAY WAS FUNNN:D.
haah went to that ICT teachers meeting thing to help out again, been doing it for yesterday and today. today's was much more fun. it was really slack. us sec 2 prefects in morning shift played taboo before switching to charades (or, as jephine says it is pronounced, 'sher-rah-dees') with taboo cards. then, jephine, jing and i spent about half an hour playing murderer and prancing around backstage in the khoo audi. then we ushered the teachers into the khoo audi and went into the changing room next to backstage where jing and jephine slept and i wrote letters to them:D after some time, joy and lin chuch came and we decided to nick the taboo cards and bring them to the khoo audi to play. we ended up spending 45 minutes of taboo and 75 minutes playing charades. after a while, we got tired of taboo cards so we formed pairs of two where one person would give the other a character or person to act out, and vice versa.
and, because i was high and not in my proper state of mind, i pointed to the lightbulb and said 'poof!' to indicate that 'i'(jephine, my partner, asked me to act as Issac Newton) had invented it.
before realising, too late, that the inventor of the lightbulb was Thomas Edison. Upon which i picked up a piece of jephine's paper that had a pretty border of apples, whacked it onto my forehead and pretended to be in pain.
and jephine, who was supposed to act as Beyonce, started hopping to the left.
you know, that beyonce song.

and audrey's party was so fun too! all water balloons and swimming. hahaha yeah and ohhh, the food was yummylicious! had such a great time, what with the everyone-say-one-word story about jack sparrow's love triangle with davy jones and kristen? DON'T ASK. but yeah, it was crazy and FUNFUNFUN.

vesak day tomorrow, and i have to mug. ah well, slacked most of today anyway.:D

POTC was great and i loved every minute of it. oh, except the ending where i asked a (what people consider) stupid question and joy stared at me as though i was a moron.

which, for the records, i am not.

hahah but yeah the ending was quite sad because something happened that shouldn't happen and so for all those who haven't watched, i won't spoil your fun. i'll just say- whatever happened to will, i wished it'd happened to jack. but other then that... POTC was amazing.

oohh yes! REMEMBER TO STAY BACK AFTER THE CREDITS!!! there's a little extra(:

and then we stayed back for a TDC meeting. but joy and i went really high and we-
anyway. let's not get into the nitty gritty details. our high-ness ended on a weird note- a strange, sudden craving to clean the whiteboard.

i haven't blogged in eons!

eheh.

open house was pretty fun!

unlike last year, we were allowed to do shifts for guides instead of having to work the entire time. the stalls were so pretty and the food was pretty yummy, though quite ex. basically denise and i just sat on the swing with richard and shaan. after that, we -annie, dee, caca and i- got addicted to this really cute balloon-popping game. then we went to the gym to bounce on the trampoline with shona and annie. then we went to watch mr tee get dunked. and bounced some more on the trampoline. before reporting for duty. after approximately 20 mintues, the fire refused to start and the guests ceased to come so we were given the rest of the time to slack.(: which meant more swinging.

m-hm. okay the history test was tough.

and there's enrichment for the rest of the week.

OHH! OHH! I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN 3: AT WORLD'S END WITH THE SEC 2 PB! YAY. OH AND THE 2 PE CLASS PARTY IN THE BEGINNING OF JUNE AND THE 1 PE GATHERING AT THE END.

School was pretty good yesterday.

hahaha pickleball is so fun!! except for the fact that i can't play for nuts. but still, it's much easier than tennis and when the ball hits you, it doesn't hurt at all!

and the relief teachers played a trick on us. the whatnot about ms lee(our science teacher) leaving on a sudden trip to africa because she got a firsthand opportunity to learn about being a doctor in a third-world country. ahahah and i actually believed it:D

guides was quite enjoyable too. we did the souvenirs (again) and traced words on glass bottles in school colours. and after that pamela and i tried to decorate the pillows and make it PRETTY but all we could come up with is drawing an eensy teensy trophy which takes up very little space. so it's back to the drawing board again next friday. then i went to help charissa line the border which was quite challenging (for me) because my hand kept shaking but haha charissa did it really well.

and after that we had to stay back for opening item and learn more moves which was pretty fun except that i can't ripple and the imitiation is seriously funny! but okay at least i can sort of do it now thanks to YOU for being really patient and slow and teaching and encouragin me.:D and something weird happened- halfway through, my cheek started throbbing, though it wasn't painful, to my heartbeat. but after i whacked it, it stopped. until 10 muintues later.

then i went swimming!

and today, after we help out at PTD, salome is going to come over to help me with the pistachio! hahaha yay can't wait.

and now it's so early in the morning (6.30 am). it's sacrilege to have to wake up this early!! hahaha nah just kidding. it's quite fun, really, blogging while not another soul is awake.

it's quiet.

it's peaceful.

hahaha i haven't blogged in a long long time.

nothing much has happened, really.

oh yes! sally and i are organising a class party for 2 PE! yay haha can't wait. speaking of which, i have yet to complete planning the 1 PE gathering. hahaha planning parties is such fun(:

um. and i passed that gong han thing that lao shi asked us to do. and though i failed my close passage (which is nothing new), i passed chinese compre too!! hahaha oh man my chinese sucks. lao shi was really nice today, she let us sleep for 5 minutes of her class because she said we all looked quite tired. wasn't that sweet.(:

probably getting back our geog. test papers on thursday. uh-oh, i hope everyone does well!

Guides was pretty fun on friday. my patrol was doing souvenirs and it's really cool because we used stencils and fabric paints!:D and the souvenirs will be mini pillows, stuffed with fluff. after that we did the horseshoe formation thing because the sec 1s will be becoming real guides too. hahaha i still remember when i had to do that last year. and turned the wrong way when told we were dismissed to go back to our patrols. HEE. how time flies. after that i had to stay back with Denise and Kristen and some others for the opening item thingy. quite funny, really. but since SHE wants me to keep mum about it, i shall(:

and guides was pretty fun today! we made the banner for campfire. okay, so the paint was pretty diluted and stank but it was the people who made it all worthwhile. and it was such fun to just sit there and paint and laugh at each other's attempts to make orange from the weird red and yellow. but anyway it turned out really pretty so we're all proud of ourselves! hahaha.

HELLO!

Sports day yesterday.. pretty fun, actually. 2 PE ROCKS!!! yay:D

after sports day, i went to macs with erica and priscilla because we had to get together for our history project. met caryl and smily there. after that we all went to the library to do our project. then caca and carly came home with me. i needed to do history with erica and caryl was just being EXTRA.:P we played with my hamsters, freed bonnie because she got her head stuck in the cage and learnt how to tango (don't ask!). oh and we did some history too.

yep. new blogskin, which i feel is pretty cute except that for some reason i can't change the font or colour of my words.

Yes, 2 PE WON!!! hahaha yay the whole class is pretty happy because we all practised pretty hard. but the other classes were really good too, especially 2GY whom we all thought was going to win. WHOOPEE yes the last day of school for the week!(:

okay we had the 10 round race today. it wasn't as bad as i expected, and i thought it was really great because we all ran as a class which i found made it easier. it was kinda tiring, but we MADE IT with 100% passes! yay.:D

Guides was pretty fun too! we went to com lab 1 to have a test and then researched on flora and fauna. after that we went for foot drill which was funny.:D

Post-Guides was the funnest of all, though! Think of approximately 2 hours on the swings!!! yes. and it was really fun because we went very high and dee screamed even though we were having fun:D and we all screamed when the swing got uprooted from the ground. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SWINGS(:

after that, it was home to see the hamsters, eat Ben & Jerry's Phish Food and watch a rented movie with my dad, who is currently on a James Bond-phase.

HELLO!!
Been busybusybusy.
Went for Prefects' Training workshop yesterday, it was really fun! We had this weird floating stick game where we each had to put our fingers underneath this elongated straw and try to put it on the groun without anyone's fingers detaching from the straw, about 10 people in a group. IT'S MORE DIFFICULT THAN IT LOOKS!:D Then we played this 'bomb' game that's pretty complicated so i shan't talk about it. except that we managed to do it! with a little help. lunch was yummy, and it was really sweet of ms kim to treat us all to it! after we went back, we did this personality test and there was quite a lot of stuff so all i can remember is that JUDITH IS AN EXTROVERT THAT INSPIRES OTHERS! hahaha yay. After this we played this game where we had to find missing art artefacts in the room and it had tons of rules so yeah, won't go too deep. we were allowed to steal other's artefacts and i remember that when salome tried to nick my group's, she got MAULED. hahaha funnyyy.:D after that we were told this really sweet story where the bottom line is that everyone makes a difference. yep.
Today, i went to cammie's house for an internal meeting which was super fun because jesslyn and i kept digressing and talking about family guy and cammie's adorable doggie called rufus. but we were still productive, yes we were! :))
i'm going to my grandma's house tomorrow with annie and issy for our geog project. then it's back home for OM.

[ADVENTURE CAMP!!]

Deserted, surrounded by dense greenery. The sea on one side, a long dusty winding path on the other.

The perfect murder setting. Or so i thought.

And our home for the next 3 days, 2 nights.

Yes, gross as it was, Adventure Camp at the old Serimbun(sp?) scout camp was FUN!! the activities definitely were, at least. Everything was pretty much okay, except for the bathroom, in my opinion. The highlights were kayaking, dragon boating, the zipline (proud to say that i overcame my fear of it and love it now!) It rained for half of our stay making everything muddy, slippery and freezing cold. In total, we had about 2 hours of sunshine( on the third day).

On the first day, we basically just settle in. in the evening, we went through this tyre tunnel thingy and went to slide into the milo pool (mud + water) but sadly, not all of us could go in, because we ran out of time:(( we slept in a building because it was too wet for our half of the co hort to pithch our tents.
On the second day, we went to the Challenge Valley, where we had to conquer height elements which was basically just walking on high planks 2 (or more, for the brave) storeys above ground. Then we went to the Hang Out which was the zipline and abseiling. Abseiling was fun and i was kinda freaked out about zipline but it was so fun! thanks to dee and annie who persuaded me to do it. after that, we went rock climbing! which was pretty difficult, but okay.
That night, we had a CAMPFIRE and slept the tents set up by the other half of the sec 2s on the first day while they slept in the building. it was reallly nice, listening to the night sounds.
On the third day, we went dragon boating which was tiring but also fun. i loved it when we sat on the railings/dipped our feet into the water and rocked the boat! wheee(:

i love 2 PE. everyone is so un-clique-ish and sweet! YAY. i love 1 PE too(:

had OM meeting at Dee's house after school CNY celebrations and another project at Joy's house.
they had already made the music and i arrived just in time to go to J8! to buy styrofoam (or at least that was what we told her mummy(:). Nah, we were good girls, we DID get styrofoam! not to mention sidetrack just a teeny weeny bit and go take neos:P
when we went back, i think i was a little high. which was fun, because it resulted in a paint fight when we were doing props! :P which was funny because we didn't have brushes and had to use the back of plastic knives to paint!:D

yeah okay mummy wants me to go and get ready for visiting now, buh-bye!

invest was fun fun fun!

the ceremony and play (i'm a crippled little girl who gets my older sister -mel luki- into trouble when i fight with her over the remote control) went great! we were all whooping backstage and hugging each other when it was over.

and then we were off to fish & co.! yummy yummy yummy in my tummy. before the food came, joanne and anne managed to get the fish & co. people to let anne (and maybe zelei too, but i'm not sure) strum her guitar to the chords of our board song! weren't they so sweet(: so we all crowded around and sang. the food was yummy!! and after that we just went around taking photos, hugging each other and playing silly games.:D

it's great to know that 2 and a half months of work paid off. the real invest went greater than any of the rehearsals! and the audience was really enthu and co-operative too; laughing and going 'awwww' on cue.

YAY. i'm glad that my first invest went so well(: hope the others are just as fun too! and thanks SO much to the people-in-charge for being so patient and putting up with all our crap.:P

Dee came over to play today and she was late :P She was supposed to come at 9 but miss sleepyhead came at 10. hahaha but that was ok because she got to leave an hour later. She was so much fun! We went to my messy messy room and exchanged christmas presents. she gave me a really cute pooh mug and blanket, yay! hahaha. then we chatted a bit and worked on my story for a while. after that we went downstairs to play blackjack! and dee won, as always. but it was nice:D Then we walked to Esso and Valleypoint to get STARBUCKS! Dee's first time to starbucks, can you believe it? But we didn't get coffee, despite the irony. I think coffee tastes GROSS :( So we got an ice cocoa each! Except that she has a microscopic appetite for chocolate and took, what, 4 sips? so she gave her ice chocolate to me and we decided to give mine to my brother because it had whipped cream and hers didn't and he liked whipped cream. and then she stopped me (at least she tried to:P) from nicking some of his whipped cream and i got ice chocolate down my leg. at least we got something mroe up her alley at esso- SEAWEED! after that we ate lunch and played 'Explorer B and D' which is this game that we made up where we have to go on 'perilous journeys'. She's Explorer D and i'm Explorer B because Explorer J sounds a little wonky, don't you think? And this time we had to get across the swimming pool on a deflated raft without getting wet and also without disturbing Big Bear (Russy the bull terrier who was, at that time, sleeping, and thus dead to the world) and also without getting mauled by Little Bear (Inu the rabid mutant HYPER boxer puppy). Ok, so DUH we got wet:D And then we worked on the story a bit more and played Cheat! Which was...funny:D And then her mummy came and she had to go HOME. :((

Howdy! A belated merry christmas everyone(: And a happy birthday to Deanna too:D

New blogskin, yes. It kinda messes up the font colours of my previous posts, sorry :( If you want to read them, you can left-click over them.

Watched Night at the Museum with the other sec 1 prefects and probably going to watch it again with Kristen in January or something. It's nice.

School's starting in a week. I'm sort of looking forward to it, because at least it'll be different from my current daily routine -wake up, eat, com, eat, have tuition/invest prac., eat, sleep kind of thing. Then again, i'm dreading it because it'll be more difficult than this year and i know that after a few week i'll be craving the hols and idle days that i'm taking for granted now. Mixed feelings, really.

I can't believe it, after all those days of preparation, the one day that it was all for, Christmas, is already over. Ok, the christmas meals were yummy yummy and all, but it's sad to see the Christmas tree all limp outside, as though it knows that christmas is over and now it's going to be put back into that hated cardboard box for another 11 months. It's been 2 days but i miss christmas already. The festive come-on-everyone-let's-all-wear-green-and-red! atmosphere, and all. Bleagh. Christmas should be a one-week occasion! After all, it IS the commemoration event and birthday of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins. It's the least we could do for him. Not to mention all the extra presents, yes, that too:P

I'VE BOUGHT CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!! Still got a bit more to go, though.

Oh yesh. I've pierced my ears! I didn't hurt as much as i expected it to, and they're fine now. No infection yet.

Vail

Howdy howdy(:

In Vail now, and using the hotel com. It's sub-zero outside and my fingers are freezing but hey, internet :P

Went skiing -snow and slopes were great- and dogsledding! The dogs loved to run. They wouldn't stop, even when i pulled on the brakes.

Which might be on account that i'm too light.

Leaving for Denver in approximately 2 hours.

Have been wasting my brains on back-to-back episodes of Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Oddparents, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That's So Raven and the occasional Hannah Montana. Which might answer for the short sentences and abrupt paragraphs, for my brain has probably degenerated a considerable amount.

Ooh ooh! 5 hours of CSI tonight! Hope it's Miami.

Oh yes. DENISEY! Haha gotcha a gingerbread (snow)man! I know you're craving one, and i can relate to that; i want one too! Pray that it gets back to Singapore in one piece, 'cos i'm resisting serious temptations to bite off its head now. :P

Prefects' outing

HELLO! (:

Had a prefects' outing on Thursday. FUNFUN! We went to Siloso Beach, Sentosa. Cammie, Tiara, Camilla and I went at 7 (Mei-E's idea and she didn't even go early!) to arrange stuff. We wrote 'SCPB' on one of the islands and then Tiara outlined the S with seaweed :D After that we lazed around on the bridge-like thing and stoned.

When all the other sane people came at 9, things began to get better. Us Sec 1s who made it -Joy, Lin Chuch, Angela and I- ran around flying Joy's kite whose name was 'Welsh Corgi'. Don't ask. Then we went to build sandcastles with Mel Luki, except for Angela who dug holes:P Then we hid peoples' slippers in some of the sandcastles for the slipper-treasure-hunt. After that, we went volley-balling! Lin Chuch had to leave early:( After that, Joy, Angela, Mel and I went running in the waves and buried our feet in the sand and all. It was fun! And i found out that soft sand makes me high! And Joy gets scared of me when i go high:P At first, we decided not to get wet but after that, Joy and I succumbed and just sat down with the waves rushing around us. Quite fun(: Mrs Chan came for our frozen-pizza-dinner-farewell for her. Her kids are adorable. I'm sure we'll all miss her :( I felt giddy and had a headache after the party so i ponned invest prac. on Friday.

Leaving for the airport to fly to the States in 5 hours and 3 minutes. Won't be back till the 23rd. Going x'mas shopping there, can't wait!

Ugh, i'm getting mosquito bites. i think there's a mozzie or two at the com. Mosquitoes are the bane of my existence.

i wish they were extinct.

Gotta go finish up my last-minute packing now, byebye :)

HAPPY FEET; Saturday 2/12

Howdy(:

Denisey came over on Monday to play! We went to Great World to play at TimeZone and watched Happy Feet! Yay yay:D Hahaha we went drumming and driving and air hockey-ing and basketball-ing at TimeZone. Our dumming was bad, our driving was worse, our air hockey was better, and our basketball-ing was the BEST :D Dee has long long arms so she managed to roll the basketballs into the booth again after they stopped rolling in:P And we took neos. We wanted to bowl but the machine was down for maintenance :( Happy Feet was great! Love Baby Mumble(:

Went to THE LINE for lunch on Saturday -Kristen's birthday!- with Kristen and my P5 friend, Patricia. THE LINE HAD A CANDY FLOSS BOOTH!!! Yummy yummy yummy yummy. I had 7 sticks.:P After that i went to kris's house and we swung on the swings and played Black Jack and Speed and after that we rode to the swings and bars again and hung upside down. Wheeeee.

Vivocity

Hey:D

I went to VIVOCITY with Yvette and our chinese tuition teacher. The place is BIG.. And idt was SO SO FUN! We went window-shopping and it was really enjoyable. Yvette gave me a really cute rainbow-and-black shirt for Chirstmas! And we even waded across something like a wading pool, halfway up to your knees (well, for me it was. I'm a shortie:P), to get to the E-Zone there! Of course there's a drier way to get there, but that's boring.. The water was lukewarm, something like a heated swimming pool, because it was on the top and i think it was heated by the sun(: The water was a little murky but that didn't stop kids from getting themselves wet from head to toe! Yvette and i would've too, but we didn't bring an extra change of clothes. Playing at E-Zone was really nice. We played air hockey! Three times. First: Yvette and I vs. our tuition teacher: we won 11-4! Then Yvette against me: She won 8-7! And finally, our tuition teacher and i against Yvette: She still won! 8-6 or something like that And after that we went back to Yvette's house and stoned for about 45 minutes, reading archie comics.

Have been watching movies and taking neos with my neighbour. We watched Dead Or Alive today. Quite nice, really. I preferred it to Material Girls.

Will have to go to school 3 times a week starting from next week for prefects' invest. prep. I'm sure it's going to be pretty fun! Although i've been given the role of a LITTLE BOY. Very funny, cammie loy:P Haha naah, i'm kinda looking forward to invest. prep. It sounds like FUN!

Went to watch Material Girls with my neighbour today. We went to Plaza Singapura, and there was candy floss! Selling at the theatres , $2 for a big tub. Grape-flavoured. yummy yummy yummy yummy. FIrst Aid Course; Tagboard replies

Have been going to the St John's Association from 9.30-4.30 these past three days for my First Aid Course ( for Guides). The test was today and YAY, we all passed:D The course was quite ok, and the doing-mouth-to-mouth-resuscitation-with-the-dummy wasn't that gross because we were given a face shield. One weird bit, though, was that the dummy didn't have a lower torso.
Hahaha.
